May I point out that I have found the Lino Spiteri Foundation very helpful. In fact I found great help and support from your staff especially from the manager, the corporate relations executive, the profiling & guidance executive and the job coach. The Job coach system is a wonderful support system and an indispensable means of communication between the employer and the employee, especially in the probationary period. Unfortunately, there have been some unhappy circumstances in the past, where the employer tried to get the EU funds without helping me feel at home and without giving me a work contract let alone a salary. Luckily now I have managed to find a job where the job coach helps me communicate with my superiors, especially during the probation period. I am now very comfortable in my job as I know what my role is. I feel I have a better relationship with my superiors. A very important aspect of the support of LSF is the one-to-one sessions I am having at the Centre where I can express myself freely when something is troubling me at work.
