The LSF had paved the way to our son regarding the ETC formalities. Ms. Melita Farrugia was the mentor of our son Gilmour. Several meetings were held by Ms. Farrugia, Gilmour and Gilmour’s mother Liliana. Said meetings were very fruitful, due to the fact that it was established Gilmour’s wish in the line of work. Before said meetings, Gilmour was confused regarding the type of carrier he is going to choose. With the professional help of Ms. Farrugia, Gilmour decided that the carrier that most suits him. was a carrier in clerical work. After the carrier that Gilmour has chosen, Ms. Farrugia monitored the situation vacancies that match Gilmour’s line of work and informed Gilmour regarding interviews. l would like to point out that Gilmour was coached the technics for an interview by LSF staff. During the two interviews that Gilmour had attended, he was assisted by LSF personnel. In his second interview, Gilmour was chosen as an assistant clerk. (Church School St. Francis Primary School B’Kara). In the first days at work, Gilmour was assisted by a job coach from LSF, which is very helpful so that he will integrate into his new role. Gilmour is very satisfied with the professional assistance that he had obtained from the very beginning until now, he can always rely on the LSF for assistance throughout, if any problems arise. This gives our son peace of mind. So to us as parents of a child with special needs. My wife and I are very grateful to the LSF for the fantastic job that all are carrying out by helping people with special needs to integrate into the workforce. During the two interviews that Gilmour had attended, he was assisted by LSF personnel.
